Facilities

Do you have boarding facilities?

Yes, we offer both day and boarding options. Our boarding houses are secure, well-ventilated, and supervised by resident house masters and matrons. However, due to high demand, boarding slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

What technology facilities do you have?

We have a computer lab with 40 workstations, smartboards in core subject classrooms, and a robotics club. Each student gets a school email and access to our e-learning portal.

Academics

What curriculum do you follow?

We run a blended Nigerian and British curriculum, leading to both WAEC/NECO and Cambridge/Checkpoint assessments. We also integrate entrepreneurship and ICT skills relevant to South West Nigeria’s development.

How do you prepare students for external exams (WAEC, NECO)?

We run intensive revision program, mock exams, and holiday extension. Our track record shows 90% pass rate in credits (C6 and above) over the years.

What are the school hours and resumption dates?

Resumption is 7:30 AM. Day students close at 3:30 PM (Mondays–Thursdays) and 1:00 PM on Fridays. Boarders have evening prep, term dates follow the Nigerian school calendar.

Admissions

What are your admission requirements for JSS1?

Prospective students sit for our entrance exam (English, Mathematics, General Paper). They must also present a birth certificate, previous school report, and undergo an oral interview with parents/guardians.

Fees & Payments

How much is the school fees, and are there payment plans?

Fees vary by class and boarding status. For current term rates, please contact our accounts office and we offer termly installments.

General

What security measures are in place for students?

Our campus is fenced, 24/7 security guards, and controlled access gates. Visitors must sign in. We also conduct regular safety drills and have a school clinic with a trained nurse.

How do you handle bullying or discipline issues?

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying. Discipline follows a restorative justice model: warning, parental meeting, suspension, and possible expulsion for severe cases. Students and parents sign a code of conduct at admission.

How can working parents communicate with teachers?

We use a school website for daily updates, assignment notifications, and direct messaging with subject teachers. We also hold termly parent-teacher conferences and have an open-door policy.

School Life

What extracurricular activities are available?

We offer debate, robotics, chess, agriculture club, football, basketball, and cultural dance (including Yoruba heritage arts). New clubs are added based on student interest.

Is your school religiously affiliated?

We are a faith-based school with Christian values, but we admit students of all religions. Our weekly assembly includes moral instruction, but we do not force conversion.

What is your policy on mobile phones and gadgets?

Phones are strictly prohibited during school hours. They must be turned in at the security desk. Laptops and tablets are allowed only for academic use under teacher supervision.

What is your school’s policy on Yoruba language instruction?

Yoruba is compulsory from JSS1 to JSS3 and optional in SSS. We also offer French, our Yoruba classes include cultural festivals and literature.
